These terms govern your use of the Pest Shield website and referral service. Please read them before requesting a connection.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing this website, calling a displayed phone number, or using the Pest Shield referral service, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or service.
2. Referral service only
Pest Shield is a referral and connection service. We do not inspect properties, diagnose infestations, perform pest-control work, employ or control independent providers, or guarantee that a provider is available in every area. Any provider you contact is an independent business responsible for its own licensing, insurance, advice, pricing, scheduling, conduct, and services.
3. Estimates and provider agreements
Any estimate, timing, service description, warranty, or other term is provided by the independent provider and may change after inspection. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the provider’s agreement before authorizing work. Pest Shield is not a party to any contract between you and a provider.
4. Communications consent
By calling or submitting contact information, you authorize Pest Shield, its service providers, and an independent provider to contact you about your request using the information you supplied. Message and data rates may apply. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, compliance, and recordkeeping where permitted by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, submit false or unlawful requests, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at scale, or use website content in a way that infringes the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
The website’s branding, design, text, graphics, and software are owned by or licensed to Pest Shield and are protected by applicable laws. You may use the site only for personal, noncommercial purposes related to obtaining service information.
7. Disclaimer
THE WEBSITE AND REFERRAL SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pest Shield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for acts, omissions, statements, services, property damage, personal injury, or disputes involving an independent provider. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not fully apply to you.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance. These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
